Systems
Integration consists of "data" integration and "process"
integration. The Integration Channel is an object-enabled integration
engine for loose-coupled data integration (it is not
for synchronous process integration). The IC lets you graphically
configure and generate all the transformation servers you need
to asynchronously or synchronously integrate arbitrarily large
federations of data stores with no new lines of code.
The State of Georgia has licensed the IC to integrate immunization
data from 2000+ systems with no new lines of integration code.
As it performs its physical integration tasks, it can
call on logical integration components such as the
CC to transparently and automatically translate identifiers
on-the-fly.
