Correlation Channel (CC)
The CC is an MDM component that provides all person id management functionality for patients and doctors, employees, etc.
It is the lowest cost, high-performance, high-flexibillity, standards-compliant person-identification hub on the market. This product was largely the basis of the OMG PIDS specification, the first SOA specification for person identification, and was its first commercial implementation. Care Data also contributed to defining the OMG/HL7/HSSP successor standard - the Entity Identification Service (EIS), and is moving its EIS implementation out of CORBA and into native JAVA EJB2 using hibernate for scalability and DBMS portability.
For HL7 V2.x or V3 XML environments we have preconfigured the CC for use with XNet Integrator by Thraysis, Inc. Using an XML mapping facility, the CC operations can be easily mapped to servies of any Integraton Engines, Message Brokers, JAVA EE Application Servers, and Enterprise Services Bus (ESB).
Technical
- Web Services access to original PIDS operations set using REST for profile access and WSDL for other interfaces.
- Work is underway on an HSSP EIS implmenetation based on EJB3 and JBoss.
