Resource Access Decision (RAD) Service
The RAD is a SOA component that centralizes all fine-grained access decisions (such as filtering lab results or investment data) for portal querys, based on a set of access control policy template structures. To implement the RAD you select and activate the policy evaluators that are appropriate to your policies. You then feed your data stamps according to your LDAP credentials schema. The RAD then enforces your policies, with rich audit facilities.
The Care Data Secure Query Service and CC both use the RAD to filter their result data according to policy. You can also call out to it from your own applications. it is available for both CORBA and WSDL.
