Monitoring, Logging and Audit Subsystem
Using an Excel-based graphical dashboard, this subsystem lets you verify that business rules - both processing rules and business policies - are being reliably enforced throughout the enterprise. For each of our services (or those that you inorporate) the monitor plots volumes, performance metrics, and business rule outcomes distributions on three-minute (adjustable) intervals. It is supported by Excel pivot tables for drill-through inspection of anomalies.
The monitor is fed though asynchronnous connections to XML log files though an SQL cache, so that operational systems performance is not affected.
The subsystem has a modular API so that you can implment it to moniotor services other than our products. The procedure is as follows:
- Identity the operations and context that are of concern to you.
- Install our java API and the log4j utility into your application touchpoints (or translate your logs to our simple XML format).
- Generate the needed DBMS caches and point th edashboard client to it.
- Monitor outcomes and investigate cases of interest in a rich investigative web portal easily customized and optimized for your business
We are in design stage for converting this facility to Web 2.0 protocols.
